January 30 - February 3

Catholic Schools week is a time for us to celebrate our happiness and pride in being a Catholic School.  It is a time to remember that "Christ is the reason for this school.  He is the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes.  He is the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students."

We will begin the week with a prayer service for grades 1-8 and vocation awareness speakers for grades 4-8 on Monday.  Students in grades 5-8 may buy a chance to be Principal for a day.

Tuesday will be Staff Appreciation Day, so this would be a good time to write a note of appreciation to your child's teacher.

On Wednesday St. Lawrence alumni will visit the classrooms and talk to the children.

Thursday will be Flip Flop Day when teachers will teach a lesson to a different class and a student will be principal for a day.

Friday will be Student Day.  Students may bring their grandparents (or other special adult) for breakfast to visit their classrooms, and to 9:00 Mass with us.  In the afternoon students will be treated to a movie.
